閱讀理論 (目的，是教美國人，如何寫出簡單明瞭文章)

• 文章第一段(Introductory Paargraph) ，必須在這一段就點名主旨 (Topic Sentence)
• RULE2
• 每一個段落的主旨都要設定清楚
• 用來詳述與主旨相關的要素 
• RULE3
• 每一個段落的主旨，會出現在個段落的一開頭。
• RULE4
• 文章的最後一段，要寫出整篇文章的結論
• RULE5
• 結論必須和主旨相關 (Double Check)，結論可以指出現在最後一段，或開頭(結論當主旨)最後一段都出現。
• RULE6
• 每個段落的個別主旨，不能重複
• 若要在同一個主旨更換段落，會有連接詞 (連階主題)
• RULE7
• 文章開頭可以放入 "Thesis Statement" 將主旨進一步細分

Grammar Lessons - Understanding Gerunds

• Def => V + ing , 本質上是名詞
• Conduse 1 : Swimming
• 進形式 (動詞) ，前面會有 be-V 當作動詞
• 動名詞 (名詞) ，
• Confuse 2 : Swimming pool
• 這裏的 swimming 其實還是動名詞，只是作為形容詞修飾 pool，形成 "swimming pool" 這個「複合名詞」
• 如果是 "swimming children" 這裏的 swimming 才會是現在分詞，作為形容詞修飾 children
• 差別在於做出這個動作的是誰，swimming pool 不是 pool 做出游泳的動作，所以是 swimming 動名詞；而 swimming children 是 children 做出游泳的動作，所以 swimming 是現在分詞。
• Implement : 動名詞，就是名詞角色，可以放名詞就可以放動名詞
